We plan to have two possible excursions:

(1) Visit to the York, a city of Roman origin. The visit will include a visit to York Minster, a 13th-century Gothic cathedral. The visit will include a tour of York Minster. For further information, please see here and here.

(2) Visit to Fountains Abbey, a former abbey located in the Yorkshire countryside, now a site of the National Trust. For further information, see here.

Travel to both Fountains Abbey and York will be by coach. Coaches will leave from the Parkinson Steps at the University Front Entrance promptly at 13.45.
